Crimson IIOT is a manufacturing execution system built for sheet metal stamping rather than adapted to it. It connects presses to a live production record and covers production execution, visual scheduling, work orders, OEE and downtime analysis, quality and setup control, machine and tool maintenance, and material traceability from coil to dispatch. Stroke counts, progressive die configuration, tool life and changeovers are first class in the data model, so the things that decide a stamping shift are recorded rather than estimated.

How it works
Model the plant
Enterprise, site, area, line, cell and asset. Topic addresses are derived from that hierarchy, not typed by hand.
Connect the presses
A signal box reads the crank encoder and existing relays. No PLC rewrite and no new control panel.
Run the floor
Operators start orders, confirm stop reasons and record checks at the machine. Supervisors watch the shift build.

Questions
- Is this a generic MES with a stamping module?
- No. Progressive die configuration, strokes per unit, stroke to part conversion and tool life in strokes are in the core schema, not in an add on.
- Does it replace our ERP?
- No. Crimson covers execution on the floor. It does not do purchasing, costing or finance.
- What does it need from the machine?
- A crank encoder signal and the relays already wired into the press. Sensors for energy, oil pressure, air flow and temperature are optional.
- Can it run more than one plant?
- Yes. Each enterprise gets its own database and its own machine connection flows.
